About the Basic Casualty Relocation Kit (Bovine)
On-farm casualties are a foreseeable hazard for those in the livestock industry. A bespoke set of equipment for humanely moving recumbent large animals is recommended as part of every farm emergency plan. The kit allows for manual relocation of casualties through skidding or sliding tactics, using our rescue glide set.

BARTA, ResQuip and Synergy Vets, along with key livestock stakeholders are trialling methods of casualty relocation and lifting to support farmers in managing future farm casualties. The project will conclude in 2027 where an evidence based set of tools and solutions will be widely recommended to the industry.
