About the Dog Mannequin
Following consultation with HM Coastguard, the ResQuip canine mannequin was initially designed to support companion animal rescue from situations like cliff ledges or mineshafts. The dog has articulating legs and weighs 30Kgs.

Emergency services will encounter companion animals in a wide range of operational contexts. Some require rescue, some relocation from fire or flood with their displaced communities and some pose a risk and can hinder an emergency response. The canine mannequin is an essential tool in teaching approach and restraint as well as providing likely scenarios within high risk environment response training
